even-t and CalDAV

even-t will supports the CalDAV protocol used by Apple's iCal Server coming with Leopard in a future version of even-t.
Built on open standard protocols, iCal Server is the first calendar server for Mac OS X Server. Now it’s easy to share calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate events within a workgroup, a small business, or a large corporation.
CalDAV is a calendaring protocol used by leading calendaring programs including iCal 3 in Leopard, Mozilla’s Sunbird, OSAF’s Chandler and Microsoft Outlook. These open standard protocols include CalDAV — a set of extensions to WebDAV, which even-t already uses for collaboration — and interchange formats such as iCalendar, iMIP, and iTIP.

Yeah that is great. I like even-t. Now, as is supports CalDAV, I can sync my Iphone via "remote calendar" which I've been using for some time yet. It supports several calendar sources on the basis of CalDAV. I have my ical, google calandar, some outlook dates I share with business partners and hoepfully even-t all in sync. You should check out www.remote-calendar.com for further information. With this option even-t even besomes more attractive.
