even-t 2.0 coming soon
I've made a lot of progress in finishing even-t 2.0. The last feature I'm working on is the synchronizing using Mac OS X 10.4 build-in capabilities.even-t 2.0 will be shipped as an Universal Binary, which means, it runs on Intel-Macs at native (lightning) speed. even-t 2.0 will be available as a Standard- and Professional-Edition.
The Professional-Edition has some more special features like:
- you can change the layout for the day and week view (to see two, three or more weeks at a time)
- set a PDF document as templates for your print outs
- create customizable static HTML web pages
- use shared editing on .Mac and WebDAV servers
Today Google announced the Google Calendar. Nice to see this. At 5:00 pm even-t had a feature called "Send to Google...". Now you can add events from even-t to your Google Calendar. Just with a click.

Even-t ist der Kalender meiner Wahl. Ich habe eine ganze Reihe elektronischer Kalender probiert, aber erst mit even-t konnte ich mein Zeitplanbuch aus Papier weglegen. In der neuen Version 2.0 sind viele meiner Wünsche erfüllt: z.B. dass ich aus einem Termin eine Aufgabe machen kann, der automatische Vortrag von nicht erledigten Dingen, Farben, mit denen ich meinen eigenen Code anlegen kann, die Möglichkeit soviele Tage anzuzeigen, wie ich brauche, oder die Option, verschiedene Projekte in jeweils eigenen Kalendern zu führen und im Web zu veröffentlichen, um nur einige schöne Details zu nennen. Even-t sieht gut aus, ist gut in die Mac-Umgebung integriert und absolut stabil. Das Programm gehört zu meinen unverzichtbaren Basics, und ich habe schon einige User mit even-t angesteckt. ;-)

Leider scheint es sehr still geworden zu sein um dieses schöne Programm und seinen Autor.
Gerne würde ich die Version 2.0 in Augenschein nehmen.

Leider tut sich seit Monaten nichts weiter. Und Herr Tilemann reagiert auf keine Post mehr. Schade, denn ich möchte gerne wissen, wann ich auch mit iSync synchronisieren kann. Sonst nützt mir der Kauf dieser wirklich tollen Software nichts. Sie ist installiert, mehr leider noch nicht... Schade... Weiß jemand Näheres?
Uwe Tilemann wird als Programmierer der Heise.de-App für das iPhone genannt.
Vielleicht ist er damit ausgelastet? ;-)
